How to make homemade carrot jam
Ingredients:
Carrots: 500 g
Sugar: 500 grams
Rose- Water: 2 spoons
Sour lemon juice: 1 spoon
Water: 2 glasses
Saffron: 1 teaspoon
Cardamom powder: As needed
Preparation method:
– Peel carrots, wash them and put them in fresh air until the water evaporates.
– Grate the carrots and put them on the heat until they are slightly soft.
– Roast them and add water and sugar after changing color.
– Close the pot, put it on the flame and let it thicken.
– When it reaches the desired concentration, add cardamom, lemon juice, Rose water and stir until it mixes well.
– After 2 to 3 minutes, remove from heat and allow to cool.
– Put the jam in the refrigerator.
